The size of your business card can often be something that you wouldn’t really have a tough time figuring out, and a big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that there is already a standard size that most card printers would already have a template for. However, there is another aspect of your business card’s size that tends to matter, and it is not related to its length and width in any way, shape or form.
Rather, this aspect of your ideal Metal Kards size has more to do with its thickness rather than its two dimensional size factors at any given point in time. The thickness of a card is often determined by the paper that it has been printed on. Suffice it to say that most cards are made on fourteen point card stock paper, and that means that they are usually going to be somewhere around 0.0014 inches in thickness. That might not seem like a lot, but it can be surprisingly thick if you hold it in your hands.
One more thing that we would like to tell you is that this is by no means the only kind of thickness that you can end up opting for. You should know that there are other thickness levels as well such as 16 point card stock which would come up to 0.0016 inches. That is a pretty big difference and it can make your card heftier and chunkier which would make it feel nicer in your hand as well. Either of these thickness options can be fruitful for you, so it’s all a matter of your preferences.
